The third young master of the Song family, born to Yun Yiniang. He is about eleven or twelve years old, thin and frail, with ill-fitting clothes stained with mud and chicken feathers. He bears fresh scratches and bruises from being forced to chase roosters for his brother's amusement. He is timid and fearful, trembling when his brother scolds him. Song Yiqiu takes him with her to his mother's courtyard, showing a rare moment of compassion.
