A male supporting character in the novel Gu Sui'an read. He is from Jizhou and would become next year's Number One Scholar. He grew up in poverty, lost his father young, and was raised by his mother. He is kind and gentle, determined to pass the imperial exams. The female lead Ruan Liuzheng once paid for his mother's medical treatment. He later quietly supported the female lead from the shadows after achieving success.
