The protagonist, originally the legitimate daughter of the General's household in the Great Yong Dynasty. She was doted on by her mother and grandmother, lived happily until age five when Lady Consort Zhao was bestowed upon her father. Sent to the borderlands at age seven with her younger brother, returned to the capital at thirteen. Her mother died when she was fifteen, after which she was poisoned and developed a heart condition. At eighteen, she exposed the emperor's schemes and committed suicide, then transmigrated to 1968 China. She is a skilled warrior, intelligent, cautious, and used to hiding her emotions. She now inhabits the body of her twin sister Song Shuqi who went by Song Shuxi.
