A Talented Lady in the palace, formerly holding the rank of Jieyu. She was demoted after being accused by the Empress Dowager of not caring for the Empress Dowager's health. She was sent to Shoukang Palace to attend on the Empress Dowager, where she was treated like a palace maid and made to do drudge work such as sweeping fallen leaves. After the Shoukang Palace was sealed, she left but was not among the initially summoned concubines. She stumbles and runs to catch the Emperor's attention, begging to be dismissed from the palace as well, hoping to receive the title of Xiangjun like the others. She claims she entered the palace pure and chaste and argues that her second uncle's years of service to Great Ning deserve clemency.
