A member of Political Commissar Zhou's family living next door to Gu Cheng and Qin Yao. She has been taking care of the vegetable garden in the neighbors' courtyard. She is hardworking and takes pride in her farming and digging skills. She initially misunderstood Qin Yao's intention to clear the yard, thinking Qin Yao was dissatisfied with her gardening. She sympathizes with Qin Yao, relating it to her own experience of being forced to study and learn to read after marrying Old Zhou.
