A woman over forty years old who is a skilled embroiderer. She is from the Dongxiang minority. She underwent her first surgery more than twenty years ago after getting married, when her face was swollen. The county hospital operation failed. She has two children - a son who entered university and a daughter in high school. She works at the Dunhuang Research Academy. She is now undergoing another surgery which was successful. She made the Flying Apsaras embroidery and a massive Buddha from the Nine-Story Pagoda embroidery that Chu Zhixia and Shen Qingshi bought at the museum.
