A young boy of about twelve or thirteen years old, plain-looking with a face that would disappear in a crowd, appearing honest and steady. He is a member of the Shadows organization and has strong martial skills despite his age. He was sent by General He Fengmian to accompany and protect Shu Lan and Xiao Cui while they explored the border town. He bows respectfully and offers to serve at their command. He can ride an ox cart and provides introductions to the area.
