Also known as Father Shi, Shi Han's father. A middle-aged man with a usually stiff, bookish face. He is weak and indecisive, often trying to shift blame. He married Bai Wanjun against his father's wishes after a free love relationship in university. He made Bai Wanjun kneel outside for a day and night in the rain when they married. He was repeatedly slapped by his father Shi Bei during the confrontation.
