By the time of the dream (year 130 of the Qian Dynasty), she is ten years old and has blossomed into a graceful young lady with delicate and smooth skin. She is described as quite beautiful with bright and lively eyes, fair and delicate face like finely crafted porcelain, and a pure and lovely smile. She is innocent and childish, calling Quan Minghe Older Brother Minghe. She admires him deeply and encourages him to unify the land, comparing him favorably to a storybook protagonist. At fifteen years old in the dream, she stands on the city walls of Sui'an to welcome Quan Minghe's victorious army back to the capital.
