Also referred to as Shen Heng and Xiao Heng. An elf noble who gives Cheng Min a necklace he supposedly wanted, though Cheng Min only asked for it to tease a servant. Shen Shaoye is eager to attend the social dance with Cheng Min and picks him up at eight. He talks non-stop and is oblivious to Cheng Min's increasingly dark expression. His father disapproves of Cheng Min's lack of gratitude toward him.
