Antagonist, a man with wolfish eyes and a vicious scar across his closely cropped temple. He led a group that raided the Lin family home, smashing and looting, taking Lin Yuqiu's father and brother away, and driving her mother to collapse. He harbors resentment toward the Lin family because Lin Yuqiu's father once called him a toad lusting after swan's flesh. He attempts to force Lin Yuqiu into marrying him and tries to kidnap her.
