A suitor of Qu Xiangxiang, described as a plump man with thick brows and a sycophantic grin. He is scheming and insincere, coveting the powerful Qu family background rather than Qu Xiangxiang herself. In the original novel, he would gift her pastries and trinkets, then spread rumors that she agreed to be his Dao partner to ruin her reputation. When the heroine arrived, he shamelessly shifted his affections to her, calling Qu Xiangxiang a shallow pretty fool. He is another cannon-fodder character who was humiliated by Qu Xiangxiang in this chapter.
