Jing Wu's uncle, a burly tall man who sells sweet potatoes. He took pity on Jing Wu after the Jing family relocated and brought her to his home in Green Bamboo Village after a heated argument with his wife. He has three sons and relies on farming. Initially skeptical of fortune-telling but indulges Jing Wu. He follows her warnings about the ghost and is protected by the talisman when Butcher Chen's possessed daughter attacks him.
