An antagonist, a short, sleazy man in his mid-thirties with greasy hair, a slightly hunched back, and shifty, darting eyes. He creeps stealthily into Shen Zhaoyue's compartment, sits on her bed, and attempts to engage her with a clumsy pickup line about being from Shanghai. He accidentally brushes against her and tries to slip a tightly folded note into her pocket, likely to frame her. When Shen Zhaoyue confronts him with the note, he panics, breaks into a cold sweat, and flees with the speed of a habitual offender. He is subsequently chased and pinned down by Wen Yanxi and two other men, suffering a thorough beating with a bruised, swollen face, split lip, and puffed-up eye.
