Sang Feiyu's grandpa, a retired veteran who fought in the war against the Japanese and earned medals. He stormed in to rescue his granddaughter, kicking Tao Ronghua in the knee to force him to kneel. He is described as a formidable man whose glare alone was enough to make Old Master Tao shrink back. He prepared to drag Tao Ronghua to the Revolutionary Committee and advised Sang Feiyu to confess everything during interrogation.
