He grew up in an orphanage and experienced isolation, which made him introverted with an aversion toward crowds. His only hobby is raising jellyfish—various rare, beautiful, and short-lived species. He was caught in a catastrophic disaster involving a tsunami, earthquake, and monster attacks while filming in a mountain village. After being swept into floodwaters, he was saved by a giant mysterious jellyfish monster. He has a calm demeanor even in dire situations, once crying silently upon realizing he might die. The jellyfish monster refers to him as 'wife' and exhibits possessive, affectionate behavior toward him.
