A formerly favored concubine in the Xiao family. Originally the daughter of an official's family whose family fell from grace. She was taken in by Marquis Xiao despite Madam Xiao's objections. Old Madam Zhang personally intervened to allow her into the household. However, she could only flaunt her status within the mansion and rarely appeared in public.
