Father of Ruan Xiuxiu and old comrade of Commander Shao. He shielded Commander Shao from gunfire on the battlefield and lay in bed for over half a month. He later retired due to injury. Commander Shao felt pity seeing Ruan Xiuxiu because of this past connection.
