The steward's son who serves as an informant and secret lover to Mo Huaiqing. He is infatuated with her and easily manipulated, grinning foolishly at her affection. Mo Huaiqing uses him but feels utter disgust and contempt toward him. He was sent out on errands for Mo Huaiqing to investigate whether the Crown Prince has taken a liking to another young lady.
