Qin Jinhua is the daughter of a fifth-rank official. She first met Jiang Lanyue at Hanshan Temple and was impressed by her. At the banquet, she accidentally reveals Jiang Lanyue's identity as Wei Tanhua's ex-wife, causing awkwardness. She apologizes and tries to befriend Jiang Lanyue, but is caught between her family's interests and her desire to maintain good relations with Jiang Lanyue and Mu Jiaojiao. She ultimately retreats to avoid offending either side.
