The Minister of Rites and father of Qin Man. A middle-aged imposing man who remains calm and composed. He was initially skeptical of Qin Man's identity but was won over by her intelligence and composure which reminded him of his younger self. He has ultimate authority in the household and sided with the official wife to restore her control.
