Gu Yunchi's husband. He came from a poor family and received financial help from the Gu family to start his business — first a thousand dollars and then another thousand. He became wealthy but took several mistresses after Gu Yunchi gave birth to twin daughters. He ignored Gu Yunchi and treated her poorly along with his parents. Gu Yunchi eventually established her own company and sidelined him.
