Also known as Director Qiao or Manager Qiao. He is Qiao Baozhu's eldest uncle and the director of the third section of the Qingyan Mountain Farm. He holds considerable influence and introduced Zhao Haiyang to the family. He is willing to marry his niece to Zhao Haiyang, a poor educated youth.
