The legitimate nephew of the wife of Lin Chongyuan, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Revenue. He owns three large restaurants, two inns, and two manors outside the city, all used as shells to launder money for Lin Chongyuan. He is greedy and suspicious, and the Chen Family Restaurant is the smallest but most secretive point in his money-laundering chain.
