Gu Jiahe's mother. She has a slight heart condition which she claims is caused by her husband's temper. She is neglectful and abusive, once shouting about Gu Jiahe's first wet dream loudly enough for the whole urban village to hear. She applies bright red lipstick and has a strange appearance with black hair grown out at the roots. She runs a failed small business and piles medication around the house. She is often quarreling with her husband Gu Jianmin.
