A merchant who started as a traveling peddler buying mountain produce and now owns a grain store in Shitai County. He also sells eggs. He discovers Lin Yue's large uniform eggs and arranges to buy them regularly, paying a deposit of 20 wen. His childhood friend is the Shitai County magistrate's grandson.
