The Brigade leader of Kaoshan Village and father of Qian Jinbao. He resembles the Laughing Buddha. He is described as a local tyrant in Kaoshan Village who exerts great control over the village. He is pushing for his son Qian Jinbao to marry Shi Muqing and is coercing Shi Muqing's parents. He dismisses Shen Qingbo's authority and threatens to capture Su Nanyue and Jiang Yan.
