The patriarch of the Qi family, father of Qi Huaizhou and Qi Huaimin. He is on his deathbed with only about three months left to live according to doctors. He lives in the Thatched Cottage in the Misty Rain at Qiyuan. He is pale and weak but still maintains authority in the family.
