Mother of Qi Yunsheng and mother-in-law of Chu Yin. A fierce middle-aged woman who violently abused Chu Yin, slapping her and slamming her head against the bed. She blames Chu Yin for ruining her niece and grandson, and for failing to produce an heir or help her son gain rank. She wanted Chu Yin to take in Qi Yunsheng's cousin and Cong'er but was refused.
