Also called Liu Mian, she is King Sheng's wife and Sheng Xin's mother. She is described as having grown complacent, spending time dressing like a gaudy peacock while neglecting her son. She had put ideas in Sheng Xin's head about Sheng Duo receiving the Emperor's reward and secretly ordered the steward not to deliver dinner to Sheng Duo's courtyard. She pleaded desperately when King Sheng punished their son.
