A member of the royal family who hosts the banquet at his manor. He sent concubines to Shen Jingyan as political tools and spies. He is openly hostile toward Shi Li, calling her a woman of tarnished virtue. He attempts to threaten Shen Jingyan and Shi Li by implying the concubines might commit suicide if dismissed. He becomes increasingly infuriated throughout the chapter as both Shen Jingyan and Shi Li outmaneuver him. His face turns green with anger at the end.
