The Sixth Prince, the Emperor's sixth son born of the late Empress. He is noble in status but frail in health, described as half a man of herbs, long accustomed to medicine. He suffers from an old ailment that imperial physicians cannot easily cure. He is mentioned alongside the Seventh Prince's old injury.
