An eighteen or nineteen-year-old girl who boards the train and becomes Sheng Kangning's bunkmate. She is very pretty, wears fashionable clothes including a white shirt, black trousers, leather shoes, and a ladies watch worn deliberately outside her sleeve. She comes from a relatively well-off family. She has a middle bunk directly above Sheng Kangning's lower berth and displays an impolite attitude toward Sheng Kangning, pouting unhappily when told her luggage cannot go under the bed.
