Also referred to as Director Peng, he is a director at a machinery factory. He was worried when a machine broke down before a production deadline. He invited Su An to repair and improve the machine, and later treated her to dinner at the factory cafeteria as a thank you. He admires Su An's abilities and compliments her mechanical engineering skills.
