The Crown Prince, nephew of the current Emperor and sole son of the former deposed Emperor Rui. He is cold and aloof but will value Ling Zhenli once she marries him with the backing of the Xue and Cui families. He personally killed Empress Wen during the coup to avenge his parents and helped his uncle Pei Lian reascend the throne. He was adopted by Emperor Xuan and established as Crown Prince.
