The third son of the Pei family and husband of Luo Fuqu. He is twenty-five years old and has not passed the imperial examinations. He is described as a handsome playboy who jokes around and avoids studying. Luo Fuqu was once deceived by his appearance, thinking he was a refined scholar. Some of the romantic poems he wrote for her were actually written by someone else.
