Xuezhu's father, who is more indulgent and laid-back compared to his wife. He was initially anxious but relaxed when he saw Xuezhu at the door. He greeted the new neighbors Meng Yunjian and his son Meng Yuning, having met them at Old Master Meng's funeral the previous year. He helped move furniture and offered to let Xuezhu buy soda for the neighbors.
