A burly, tall muscular man who caught Li Ran when she fell from the horse after her escape. He was rough around the edges but kind-hearted. He helped set up a changing enclosure for Li Ran using cloaks, cut her silk sash into pieces, and helped her mount her horse. He was inexperienced around women and found dealing with Li Ran confusing and troublesome.
