Also referred to as Uncle Mei, he is the carpenter in Gujia Village. He was planing wooden boards when Lu Zhiyan and Ji Nanxi visited his workshop. He crafts custom beds and wardrobes with mortise and tenon joints. He is proud of his quality work and is married to Auntie Xie. He is also responsible for assembling the furniture at Lu Zhiyan's home.
