The matriarch of the Gu household and Xie Yuechan's mother-in-law. Initially cold and dismissive toward Yuechan, she gradually softens after tasting Yuechan's cooking. She was coaxed by the Grand Preceptor and decided it was better for Yuechan to focus on food than embarrass the family. She excused Yuechan from daily standing attendance.
