Also known as Uncle Niu, he is a lifelong friend of Su Xiaoxiao's late father since childhood. He broke his leg a few years ago and now walks with a slight limp. He warns Su Xiaoxiao and Su Jin that their grandparents from the main Su family are scheming nasty ideas against them because they are unhappy seeing the children survive. He brings dried wild vegetables as a gift, recalling past help the Su family gave him when they were better off.
