A five-year-old boy living near the Wei estate in Ping An Town. He owns a bamboo hobbyhorse and curiously watches Nan Yang climb over the courtyard wall. He warns her that it is dangerous outside but ultimately tells her she better go out if she needs food. His mother scolds him for being a busybody.
