The chairman of Nan Corporation and Nan Ming's father. He had an arranged marriage with Nan Ming's mother but rekindled a relationship with his ex-girlfriend during her pregnancy. This caused a fight that led to complications during childbirth and Nan Ming's mother's death. He cannot have more children and is fixated on Nan Ming marrying into the Nan family to carry on the family line. He is angry about Nan Ming's relationship with Gu Yin.
