Male, father of Mu Jing and head of the Mu Family. He is powerful and wealthy, cherishing his daughter dearly after her mother's death. During the engagement cancellation scene, he displays a terrible attitude toward Xu Ge, looking down on the poor and silent boy. His actions contribute to the grandfather's illness and eventual death. Later in the story, after Mu Jing dies from a heart attack, he jumps from a building and ends his life. He drops a white paper and half of a jade pendant during the chaotic scene.
