29-year-old military doctor and neurosurgeon who is a widower raising three children alone. He returned from the battlefield and his stepmother is trying to arrange a marriage for him. He is rational, values inner qualities over appearances, and initially resists the marriage arrangement because he suspects his stepmother and sister-in-law have bad intentions.
