A powerful antagonist from a hundred years ago who practiced sacrificial cultivation. He believed that by gathering everyone's essence and spiritual energy into himself, he could ascend to immortality. He practiced evil techniques to absorb the cultivation of powerful beings, schemed to establish the first major sect, and openly enslaved cultivators from all over the world to refine them. He was so powerful that no one could stop him. He eventually ascended but was struck by lightning during his tribulation, and the entire cultivation world was left in ruins as a result.
