Also called Li Pozi or Li Guihua. She is the village midwife summoned from the village head's house. She examines Mrs. Zhang, finds the cervix fully opened, and delivers the baby by pressing on the belly and guiding the head out. She is experienced but notes this was the most dangerous delivery she has ever encountered. She receives ten eggs and 100 wens from Old Madam Wu.
