A middle-aged monk in crimson kasaya, a renowned eminent monk in recent years and a highly favored guest of the Empress Dowager. He hailed from Great Chan Monastery and had resided in the capital of Great Li for over a decade. Twenty years ago, he was also a monk of Great Chan Monastery. He received a portrait of the Living Buddha from Great Chan Monastery years ago and recognized Lin Yuan. He proposed a plan for Lin Yuan to gain entry to the Martial Hall through the Empress Dowager's recommendation.
