A traveling monk with an official ordination certificate issued by the imperial court. He was an old comrade of Luo Chengye from his outlaw days. Luo invited him for drinks, got him drunk, and murdered him with an iron mace to steal the certificate. His corpse was used by Luo to fake his own death; his head was severed and later fried in hot oil to destroy evidence.
