Grand Administrator of Nanjun and a General, courtesy name Zifang. He came from a merchant background and appeared to be in his early forties, tall and broad-shouldered with a fair face and trace of beard. He carried a long sword and dressed luxuriously. He was described as a traitor-to-be who fell in love with Liu Chi at first sight and sent her love letters and gifts including twin moon pearls and a jade hairpin carved with hibiscus patterns.
